Note to self: If you’ve been making a night of tequila shots and someone hands you a Jagerbomb, don’t drink it.

ALO TOUR DIARY #25/17/10
United Airlines
Pensacola to Boston

Uhhhhggnnn…

Flying from Pensacola to Washington DC to Boston on a massive, massive hangover. Note to self: If you’ve been making a night of tequila shots and someone hands you a Jagerbomb, don’t drink it.

Accommodations are the basement rooms of a well-appointed Rodeway Inn in Revere, MA. We found a nice Italian restaurant nearby to celebrate Zach’s 35th birthday. The owners and waitress were very warm and friendly. We ate our faces off and had tiramisu with a candle in it for desert. I gave Zach a DVD copy of Fiddler On The Roof. He was Tevya in his high school production of the musical and still channels the character to this very day. The role is definitely a part of his identity as a performer.

I’ll talk more about birthdays on the road in tomorrow’s blog entry.

Dave Brogan

Keep up with all things Brogan, ALO or otherwise, at his official website.

Throughout 2010, ALO drummer Dave Brogan will regale us with tales from the road as Animal Liberation Orchestra travel around behind their sweet new album Man of the World, both as headliners and as primary support for Jack Johnson’s summer/fall tour.
