What’s wrong with Baltimore? Everyone always bags on it. Looks fine to me. Good, solid music lovin’ people as far as I can tell.

Baltimore

ALO Tour Diary #7No daytime radio today so Michael Wilson, our TM / FOH (tour manager / front-of-house sound engineer) made us microwave omelet sandwiches in the tour bus kitchen. Yaaaaaay!

The 8×10 is a damn solid music venue and I like Baltimore, too. What’s wrong with Baltimore? Everyone always bags on it. Looks fine to me. Good, solid music lovin’ people as far as I can tell.

Tonight was fun but a little unfocused. I think we might have been trying to duplicate the excitement of Philly without the last minute set change that could get us all in tune. There were some interesting explorations and a few instances of the train skidding off the tracks but hey, we’re not the LSO (London Symphony Orchestra), we’re the ALO!

Throughout 2010, ALO drummer Dave Brogan will regale us with tales from the road as Animal Liberation Orchestra travel around behind their sweet new album Man of the World, both as headliners and as primary support for Jack Johnson’s summer/fall tour.
