The Staquelettes
These lovely creatures are The Staquelettes, the estrogen enriching force inside Seattle’s groove rock army The Staxx Brothers. Without Michelle Shirley O’Connor (left) and Angela Rickard (right), Staxx might overwhelm one with testosterone-addled energy (bam! pregnant!), but with these ladies they purr, potent with undulating blues, silken soul and rock punch. Overflowing with easy laughter and exposed feeling, The Staquelettes bring beauty and balance to the Staxx enterprise. And they’re both pretty darn badass, as this latest entry in the Free Bird series shows.
