Since the sun rose today and the cockroaches haven’t become Earth’s new masters, the Impound figured we should offer up one of our favorite things – primo covers of Bob Dylan songs – in celebration of the Mayans being wrong. For all the times mankind has been counted out, ticking off their final days and hoarding supplies for the coming darkness, we keep pulling through, and since around 1960 or so Dylan’s songs have given us tools for dealing with life and apocalypse and all that falls between our first breath and our last. Thanks, Bob, and thanks to the artists who do such wonderful things with his work.
